Sebastian Barrantes is a Costarrican artist who studied lived and worked in the Bay Area for many years for companies such as Ubisoft San Francisco, and SVI in Emeryville California.

In 2020 he came back to Costa Rica where he became a freelance artist and animation teacher.

He is the author of the graphic novel Mental Bark (Ortiga Mental), which is now being distributed at Floating World Comics and books with Pictures in Portland, Oregon. Mission Comics in San Francisco, CA, Global Comics in Mexico city an Spooky house in Bogotá, Colombia.
